Newborn kittens are so sweet, cute and dependent on their mother and litter. When a kitten is born and left a stray, or abandoned by their mother or taken from their family the mortality rate for these kittens is around 75%. Without support, these kittens often times will perish.  When kittens are found or turned over to shelters, the rescues will use their financial resources to provide food and medical care for these sweet fur babies that are usually in desperate need of help. As a result some of the extras that could make a huge difference in the life of a kitten, often cannot be afforded.
