I love the interplay between the gestural paint strokes and the mirrored, manufactured quality of the graphic design.I've titled the series "The Hanging Gardens of Babylon" because the flowing vines and pale desert colors evoke the wonder of the ancient garden.The symmetrical elements further connect the work to antiquity, drawing inspiration from the principles of classical architecture found in temples.
