Shaw, Adrian – A Dark Reflection [IMPORT] – New LP

Ade Shaw (bassist for The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown in the 1960s, Hawkwind in the 1970, Bevis Frond for 30 years..as well as making solo records since 1990).  Considering his past, it's not surprising this seems a blend of head rock / acid rock / hard rock, something Hawkwind was also doing, but while this clearly comes from that era, this has a sound all his own.  "What can you say about the bass playing (and way more) legend that is Ade Shaw? During a long and mind-altering career, Ade has played with many outfits, most notably psych warlords Hawkwind, for whom he provided his trademark basslines for several years in the mid 70s.
