CONDITION: Grade 1: new in package Grade 2: Normal surplus. No obvious damage. Minor cosmetic issues. May be Foliage or Green. The purpose of these pads are to provide soldiers with a light weight, comfortable sleeping mat while providing them with additional insulation to stretch the capabilities of their sleep system. Most of the heat lost in a sleeping system is from points where the insulation is compressed against the ground, creating cold spots.
