Trees In Heavy Fog

This photograph was a very random one taken on Elmore Mountain Road on a very foggy day.  Scenes like this are some of my favorites.  They exist somewhere between the macro and the landscape. I once spent a day with a photographer who referred to scenses such as these as the "intimate".  He was a landscape photographer by profession but these were his favorite scenes to photograph as well.  The trick to most photographs is to make into something that you wish you had seen rather than what you actually saw.  This is what I attempted to do here.
