The Pecos River High Bridge between Del Rio and Langtry, Texas, originally known as the "Pecos Viaduct" was constructed in 1892 by the Southern Pacific Railroad. It was on the "Sunset Route" from New Orleans to Los Angeles.  The bridge in the postcard was in use until 1949. The postcard was first published by the world's largest (at the time) printer of "view and advertisement" postcards, The Curt Teich Co., Chicago, circa 1908.  Ref.
