This presents an interesting historical record of theological discussions and concerns in late 18th-century New York. It touches on the Great Awakening of the 1740's with a biography of Joseph Bellamy, there is a sound rejection of Samuel Hopkins and his "Hopkinsian" beliefs, also a critique of Wesleyan Methodism, and defences of Calvinistic theology. This publication was in print 1795-99. This volume begins with Vol. I no. 1 (July and August 1795) and ends with May and June, 1796.  "Cornelius
