The proceedings here are on the occasion of Dr. Robinson's return from the Holy Land and is becoming Professor of Biblical Literature in the Union Theological Seminary of New York.  The Charge instructs Robinson to I. Set his standards high, II. Be careful what you teach, III. Give himself wholly to his work, and IV. Cultivate an elevated piety. The Address by Robinson treats with the Bible alone being the only sufficient rule of faith and practice and the necessity of the gospel preacher to be educated in its original languages. Edwar
