SM008_English: Intelligence & Threat Management: Gathering, Analyzing & Actioning Information

Intelligence forms the bedrock of sound decision making, as such leadership teams must be able to effectively and appropriately gathering, analysis and action information to reduce risks and inform action. This leadership course helps organizations to understand how to identify threats and use simple strategies to avoid or mitigate these risks. This includes identifying information sources, gathering and processing information and defining risk solutions from the intelligence gleaned. The training looks at what “information” means in comparison to “intelligence”, how to “grade sources” and turn multiple streams of information into something which drives decision making, and so mitigates risk. The course is closely aligned to risk management, and how an intelligence-led approach best supports risk-based decision making at the organizational level.
