1920s Interior Design Class Project Binder

Black hardcover 2-ring looseleaf binder, 11 x 9 inches, backed in cloth and stuffed with around 75 leaves of various paper stocks used recto-only. Very Good. Contains student work in domestic planning/interior design. A number of pages are torn at the hole punches, as typical, resulting in a little bit of untidiness. The first part contains over 20 collages, 10 charming hand-drawn floor plans, and many pages of budgets for planning home interiors. The details give us a good sense of Dorothy--she plans for an ambitious sun porch with two ferneries and a bird cage, is a big fan of wicker and the color blue. The second part contains notes on historical architectural styles and materials, and is neatly indexed. This section is hand-paginated to 23, but her index goes to 28, so it looks like a few pages have escaped at the end; the exterior of the binder shows some fraying but is well intact.
