Printed Every Little While for the Society of Philistines and Published by Them Monthly. "Copyright B. C. Hubbard" 12mo, quarter reverse calf with gilt stamped boards and paper spine label. 192pp with original wraps bound in, many with French flaps. Small tear to the cover of issue 1 (inserted slightly askew). Overall Very Good+ with bumping to corners, exposing tips. Many unopened signatures.  An attractive copy of Hubbard's infamous periodical from its second year of issue. Bound volume of 6 issues spanning December 1896 through May 1897, it heavily advertises Roycroft/Hubbard endeavors and a recurring theme of dueling ads--Steuben and Jackson Sanitariums and Stearns and Royal Worcester Cycles are advertised on consecutive leaves. Printed with a variety of inks, techniques and paper stocks (including an uncommon, thin peach paper), a tactile pleasure and compact exemplification of the politics and aesthetics of Roycrofters and the American Arts & Crafts movement.
