Treefrog

The green treefrog is a small, small frog... but it is SOOOOO loud! It's amazing that for something only an inch or two long, you can hear it far off, singing the breep-breep-breep of it's people. The treefrog lives in (wait for it...) trees and shrubs, eats bugs, lays eggs in ponds and marshes, and is shy and nocturnal. While many treefrogs have a white stripe down their sides (think a racing stripe that starts at the mouth and ends at the hip), this colorway inspired by the cute little hoppers is a solid color. HaldeCraft HandDyed yarns started life in 2007 in a small yarn store in Gainesville, Florida (Hanks Yarn and Fiber) and was then called "Perhaps Today is a Good Day to Dye". It has continued online as HaldeCraft HandDyed since 2011, and is hand-dyed and lovingly re-skeined in a small home studio by someone who loves the fiber arts just as much as you do.
