materials: leather, sterling silver, polyester thread techniques: leather carving & tooling, saddle stitching & scratch finish description: this design was chosen for the contrast between the shapes of the leaves and the fruit at the center. the fruit almost seems to ride towards the viewer on a mounting fountain of leaves, pushing outwards from the center. triangles also seem like a sensible shape for the inside of a pocket.
