Kintsugi, the ancient Japanese art of golden repair, turns broken ceramics into stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces—because flaws aren’t flaws, they’re part of the story. In this class, you’ll learn a modern, beginner-friendly Kintsugi inspired technique using easy-to-work-with adhesives and brass powder (I will have multiple metallic hues available) to bring a broken plate or art piece back to life. No waiting for days—this method dries quickly and is hypoallergenic, making it perfect for decorative ceramics (just not for food use). We will have a choice to break & repair a small bowl, plate or a handmade piece in need of a second life.
