Pouteria ramiflora Seeds Pouteria ramiflora is a species of Pouteria, originating from the state of Acre. It bears fruit twice a year and is highly tolerant of cold temperatures. The mother plant from which we collected seeds was able to withstand temperatures as low as -2°C without any harm. Some have described as the taste as a blend between an Abiu (Pouteria cainito) and an Avocado. Pouteria ramiflora comes from the subtropical biome of Sao Paulo.
