All our templates are CNC milled from CFC core Melamine Sheets. These templates are designed to be inserted into "The Master Door Jig" giving you full adjustment and attachment capability to the door slab you are prepping for hardware. There are 2 different depths that need to be prepped for this hinge. One template is specific for the Door and the other for the Frame or Jamb. Simply clamp on "The Master Door Jig" to desired location. Insert ether the door and or frame/jamb template. First cut for your mortise section with the 2 steel rods in the template. Next, remove the steel rods and then cut for the next depth. The Master Door Jig holds everything where it should be.  Each template is designed with a 1/16" offset for the use of a rub collar and or 1/16" offset bearing in a router. This design enables the template to endure more use and gives you more control of your depth and size bit you like to use. Don't like what you see?
