Product Description Novox (carprofen) chewable tablets are a Non-Steroid Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID) used to treat pain and inflammation in your dog; helping to relieve arthritis pain, joint pain, post-operative pain, and reduces fever in dogs. Novox is the Vedco brand name for generic Carprofen and a generic equivalent to Rimadyl. Possible Side Effects Novox is considered safe to use in the vast majority of dogs, and the risk of side effects occurring appears to be less than 1%. Rarely, serious side effects and sometimes death have been reported. The most common side effects reported with Novox use are decreased appetite, vomiting (including blood in the vomit), diarrhea, or blood in the stool. Contact your veterinarian if you notice any of these. This medication may effect the kidneys or the liver.
