Black Walnut Shell Buttons - unique nut shell buttons

*Sold individually - choose size and quantity Each year the black walnut trees on our farm drop their giant lime green-colored balls containing their tasty nuts.  Surrounding these nuts is a large, hard shell.  Once these giant fruits are hulled, cleaned, and dried, we carefully slice them and remove the nutritious seed within.  We then create these one-of-a-kind buttons by further cleaning, sanding, and coating in an all-natural oil and beeswax finish.  The end product are these lovely, earthy buttons that will compliment any garment or accessory you put them to! Coated in an all-natural beeswax and oil finish. Made with love on our family farm in southeastern Ohio.
