Have you ever felt lost on your path? This painting captures my organic faith journey... Its winding path symbolizes challenges, the dead tree representing trials, & the 'tree of life' symbolizing growth through faith & the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Ignatius of Antioch's words resonate: "Faith, the beginning, & love the end." Faith is our journey & destination, bridged by hope-Hope guides us through! Another Hebrew word for hope is "tikvah," meaning a cord that nourishes us. Job cried out, "Oh that I might have my request-that hope, my hope, the thing I long for...". Grounding us in life's storms, hope anchors us to heaven. Hope is gritty, hard work...It's an action Dostoevsky said, "To live without hope is to cease to live."
