21.5" x 20.75" "white crane and willow tree" framed print by Sizuki Kiitsu (1796-1858). originally a two-panel painting on silk screen, this antique painting has been printed, matted, and framed in a beautiful black/bronze frame. from Catawiki:Painter of the late Edo period, Kiitsu studied under Sakai Hoitsu. After Hoitsu's death, he gradually departed from Hoitsu's style, and his painting style became more bold and innovative with a decorative touch, eliminating the lyrical element from his paintings.
