Bound by Bayntun for Brentano in full navy goatskin leather over boards, the covers gilt with the coat-of arms of the City of London within decorative borders, the spines gilt in six compartments, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt, with the turn-ins signed by Bayntun and Brentano. 8 x 5.5 inches; 9.5 inches of shelf space; 5 volumes (various pagings). Bindings with moderate edgewear and interiors with occasional foxing. Very Good. A generally clean copy with an attractive shelf appearance.
