Our original landing net, the Upstream, is the perfect all around net for anglers looking for a lightweight & practical piece of fishing gear. This model is one step up in size from our Blue Line fishing net. The hoop dimensions of this model can be most closely compared to the Fishpond Hand/Mid-Length/Guide net and the Orvis Wide Mouth Guide net. When you order your net, we head out to harvest local bamboo that day. The bamboo is then cut, shaped, flame cured, and assembled. We use copper stitching for the frame and a heavy gauge copper to create the keeper ring and secure the handle to the frame.
