This collaboration is done in partnership with Untitled Miami. ~DESCRIPTION~ Conceptual artist Lucia Hierro’s sculptures, installations, and digital media works address themes of capitalism through a truly intersectional lens. Incorporating various signs and symbols found throughout popular culture and on household items, she seeks to narrow broad concepts such as exclusion and privilege. A Yale MFA graduate, Hierro mounted her first solo museum show, “Marginal Costs,” at Connecticut’s Aldrich Museum in 2021. She also participated in El Museo del Barrio’s first national large-scale presentation of Latinx contemporary art, “ESTAMOS BIEN: LA TRIENAL 20/21.” The Dominican-American artist’s popular “Bodegon” series of still lifes features colorful digital prints collaged with it
