Addiction-Free Pain Management - APM Module 2: Examining Your Potential Medication Management Problems
By Stephen F. Grinstead Having presented the Addiction-Free Pain Management (APM) System in trainings to more than 6,000 people throughout the United States, Dr. Grinstead received many requests from clinicians for simple tools to help chronic pain clients identify and manage their pain in a safe, recovery-prone manner. Three modules have been developed that have proven useful and effective. The exercises in Module Two explore the reasons people start developing problems with potentially addictive pain medication and define some often misunderstood terms. The client will sign an APM Medication Management Agreement and develop a safety plan designed to help adhere to the agreement.
