Epilobium (Zauschneria) canum ssp. canum 'Calistoga'

California Fuchsia: Evergreen CA native subshrub with a spreading mat of unusually wide, fuzzy, gray leaves. 12-18" tall x 3-4' wide with tubular orange-red flowers. Full sun to part sun. Low water. Sand, clay, seacoast, wind, heat and drought tolerant once established, but looks best with occasional irrigation. Deer, rabbit, gopher & fire resistant. Hummingbird, bird, butterfly, and pollinator favorite.
