Frog's Leap Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

Winemaker Notes:  A wine with all the hallmarks of the legendary Cabernets of Rutherford: deep, cassis-currant aromas, the classic notes of Rutherford Dust, earthen flavors of cedar and black olive, and a velvety, plush mouthfeel. The wine is medium bodied and moderate in tannin, with some beautiful suppleness to the mid-palate that reflects the moderate summer, accompanied by a touch of extra richness from the hot autumn weather. 100% Certified organic and dry farmed. Blend: 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc (frogsleap.com) 91 James Suckling Aromas of crushed herbs, sliced plums, blackcurrants and violets. Full-bodied with powdery tannins. Bright acidity pairs nicely with the fresh red fruit on the palate. Could use another year to come together. Best after 2023.
