Sky Above, Ground Below is a variegated colorway featuring turquoise, aqua, ocean, charcoal with touches of lime. Blue Faced Leicester (or commonly known as BFL) wool is one of the finest long wools. Our particular source is approximately 26 micron and with a 3-3.5 inch staple length. It has a lovely drape and sheen, as is common with long wools, and is very resilient. Known for being an excellent wool for beginning spinners.Hand dyed using professional acid dyes that are hypoallergenic and meet either Oeko-Tex 100 or organic processing standards. Sold in 4 ounce quantities.Care: Handwash with tepid water and a wool wash (we recommend Unicorn Fibre Wash). Lay flat to dry. This fiber will felt!Because of the dye method, individual braids within a dyelot are fraternal and there will be variation between braids.
