SYNOPSIS: The book features the author's works at deciphering the ancient writing and language of the Bisayan-speaking people of the central Philippines on five artifacts discovered in different places, four of which are now displayed at the Baybayin Gallery of the National Museum of Anthropology in Manila. He had also deciphered the archaic transcriptions of Bisayan words in some manuscripts of Fr. Francisco Alcina, a seventeenth-century Jesuit missionary in Samar and Leyte.
