Crackerjack Beeswax Melts

The night buzzes with colored lights and the sounds of carnival music from the fairgrounds, the tip of the big top and the Ferris wheel coming into view as you pay for your ticket. You wander the chaotic maze of attractions, games, side shows, and food stalls, pulled in various directions as you silently follow the movement of people around you.  Through a break in the crowd, you see a Crackerjack stand and your stomach grumbles. You make your way to the booth window, and buttery popcorn and sea salt swirl with the scent of the caramel and roasted nuts. You buy enough to snack on while you wander around the rest of the carnival, entranced by the rhythm of the crowd and pulsing of the lights the rest of the evening.
