This hybrid produces consistently-sized 6-7" fruits that are glossy and smooth with an attractive yellow exterior. Fruits have few spines which leads to less fruit damage during harvesting. Goldprize Squash has an excellent disease package and is resistant to several common mosaic viruses. The disease resistance allows for increased plant longevity and increased harvesting windows into the heat of summer.
