Taylor Lima (Butter) Bean is an heirloom, speckled runner bean. This bean is widely adapted and grows well in a variety of growing zones and soils, including sandy soils. Rev. Taylor beans have been known for their ease of shelling and great taste, they love warmer climates and will produce all summer long. Rev. Taylor beans need to be trellised, they're great to dry out and eat throughout the winter months. Recommended for gardeners who enjoy "old fashioned" butterbeans, especially if your soil fertility isn't the best. Phaseolus lunatus. 85 days to maturity.
