Trifecta Crop Control is a FIFRA (25b) exempt pesticide, fungicide, and miticide made from non-toxic, food grade essential oils that are blended with a nano-saponified emulsifier (soap). The essential oils used to manufacture Trifecta Crop Control were also chosen for their ability to mitigate and repel pest insects. Similar to the action that occurs on the lipid shells of molds and mildews, terpenes and terpene alcohols break down the chitin in insect’s exoskeletons. Using our technology the particle size of the essential oils in the water become so small that the respiratory systems of pests are also impacted by contact, essentially suffocating them. Most commercially available insecticides affect the endocrine systems of pests, and over time pests evolve resistance to these molecules.
