Align-Pilates Modular Step Barrel and Arc The Modular Step Barrel & Arc, often referred to as the 'Spine Corrector,' significantly enhances the traditional Step Barrel's core functionality. Traditionally, the Step Barrel has been recognized for its role in improving posture by lengthening and strengthening the back, feet, and shoulder muscles. This versatile accessory easily attaches over the shoulder rests of all Align-Pilates reformers, enabling its use on both the reformer and the floor. When utilized on the floor, our step incorporates an anti-slip base and can be paired with our 32" Maple Gondola Pole for additional exercise possibilities. Furthermore, the Arc is removable and can be securely locked in place, allowing it to be used independently and providing an alternative curvature compared to our standard stacking arc.
