Velvet Spring Curl Pods - 3 Count

Velvet spring curl pods are eye-catching, whimsical botanicals for terrariums.  Velvet springs have a velvet texture on one side.  Spring curls are used as hides for small animals and microfauna and they add some dimension to the bioactive tank or terrarium.  Our springtails enjoy crawling on velvet spring curls, and we use these to harvest springtails from soil cultures.  Velvet spring curls on average are about 3-5" long.  They do not break down quickly in humid environments, but sometimes they will get a small amount of mold due to the velvety texture.  The mold typically resolves itself within a few weeks.     Price is for 3 spring curls. Spring curls may also be used in aquariums as hides and food for shrimp and fish.  These botanicals will promote healthy biofilm in the aquarium. PLEASE NOTE:   Seed pods and stems are a natural product. and they will vary in size and shape.
