Full length 55kD gag is cleaved endogenously to produce a 24kD gag protein with authetic N and C termini. This protein shows 92.6% homology with HIV-1 IIIB p24 gag protein.  Purification: This protein is purified by salt fractionation, cation/anion affinity and gel exclusion chromatography to >98% purity as determined by SDS-PAGE, reduced. Quantitative determination of the protein is based on a sandwich capture ELISA using a qualified p24 preparation as a reference. The capture ELISA is sensitive to 1pg of p2
