Remarks: L600 Leopard Cactus Plecos (Pseudacanthicus leopardus) are large, aggressive plecos that should be housed with similarly-aggressive fish. This genus of fish earns the nickname "Cactus Plecos" because of the tiny odontodes on their sides, making them very "pokey" in texture. This species has a brown base color with black spots and bright orange tips on the fins. They are very territorial and should be given plenty of caves to choose as their own. They are found in the wild in Brazilian whitewater streams, burrowing in between rocks to create territories.  Scientific Name: Pseudacanthicus leopardus Common Name: L600 Leopard Cactus Pleco Max Size: 14" pH: 6.0-7.5 Hardness: Moderate Temperature: 74-84° Aggressiveness: Semi-Aggressive Region of Origin: South America Captive Bred or Wild: Captive Bred Diet: Frozen or live meats, occasional vegetables Compatibility: Large plecos, catfish, large South American cichlids, large tetras Tank Mate Options: Red Shoulder Severum Striped Sil
