St Peregrine Handmade Statue, Patron Cancer Patients and Those Cured, Large Size

I designed and carved the original and cast each piece by hand in modified gypsum with bronze powder. After the pieces cure, we buff each one to bring out the bronze color, patina them, and seal them. They can stand or hang (there is a hook on the back: the back is unpainted). Each piece comes boxed with a card stating the following:St. Peregrine: Patron of Cancer Patients and Those Cured of Cancer St. Peregrine (1260-1345) was born wealthy and lived a dissolute early life. During a dispute, he struck St. Philip Benizi on the face. St. Philip turned the other cheek, and Peregrine converted. He joined the Servite order and for thirty years, as penance, lived and worked as much as possible in silence and solitude. Later in life, he developed skin cancer on his leg and was scheduled for surgery. He spent the night before the operation in prayer and had a vision of Christ healing him with a touch to his foot.
