'Extinction Solution' is a masterclass in hook-laden, 'fun' grind, but do not mistake the term here to mean 'not filled with blast beats and ear shattering vocals'.Clocking in at around 22 minutes long the Northampton three piece waste no time with overlong intro/outro sections or frilly atmosphere, ATROCITY EXHIBIT go straight for the jugular, with old school Napalm Death-esque slippery guitar riffs snuggled up neatly against rock and roll rhythms that would give Lemmy cause to grin ear to ear.The album rolls through several themes and is really nicely bookended with short, rocking riffs which, while not being identical, share a thematic similarity. The album as a whole hangs together amazingly well, there is a real sense of care in the composition
