INCI Name: Sodium Polyglutamate DropCare® PGA70 (Sodium Polyglutamate) is a viscous polymer of amino acids, usually in the form of sodium salts. Its structure consists of amino acid units forming peptide bonds through a -amino and y -carboxyl groups. PGA has a large num­ber of side chain carboxyl acids, which can form hydrogen bonds within or between molecules. It has extremely high water ab­sorption and moisture retention.
