Leading Through Change: Crisis Management & Resilience in Higher Education

Description  Overview Given all the changes to the higher education environment, our profession can feel overwhelming.  These changes can also be felt from the various crises and or conflicts experienced on our respective campuses, in our greater communities, across the country and beyond. The ripple effect of all these changes, crises, and conflicts seem to find themselves impacting our campus communities in one way or another.  We have witnessed these issues in how our institution navigated out of the worldwide health pandemic, created strategies for the enrollment cliff, confronted the great resignation or values realignment with our staff, and steered through campus demonstrations. Given the upcoming national elections, I imagine many of us are anticipating further disruptions on and around our institutions.  As we reflect on how we got to where we are today and anticipate what will come, we must discern on how best to ride the tide of change and feel like we are not jus
