2024 Edition - 99 Proof/49.5% ABV The Vaults 2024 limited release from Widow Jane is a blend of selected 15-year-old bourbons sourced from the distillery's collection of old and rare barrels. Each barrel was chosen for its flavor depth before being meticulously married in hyper-small batches. This luxuriant, complex, and rare-aged bourbon undergoes a finishing process in hard-to-source Amburana wood casks, also known as 'Brazilian Oak'. Native to the dry jungles of Brazil and Argentina, Amburana wood grows slowly in challenging conditions, making it scarce. It is renowned for imparting an unexpected combination of warm spices, floral notes, and tropical characteristics. The specific barrels used for The Vaults 2024 were intentionally selected to complement the unique flavors and complexity imparted by the Amburana wood finishing.
