Amalfi - Bad Barbie/Artisan/Door Hinge

  The Amalfi Journal is extra packable for those wishing to travel light, and ideal for creative kiddos with smaller hands. Perfect in a small cross-body bag. ( I literally carry mine everywhere!)  This 2.5” x 4” journal contains 80 pages of the acid-free Artisan cotton  paper. It’s my most versatile, and is ideal for light watercolor, and for writing or sketching with any type of pen, pencil, or charcoal. (Note: this and the bamboo are the best papers for use with micro-tips or fountain pens.)   This book features an elegant Victorian era door hinge closure. To open, simply pull the pin out of the top of the hinge, and the top and bottom leather flaps can then pull away from one another. It is an authentic, repurposed antique hinge, dating back to the 1880’s-1890’s. It is attached with hand-hammered copper rivets.
