Lucca - Rusty Bison/BB/Door Hinge

The Lucca Journal has long been our most popular size journal for carrying every day.  There is plenty of space for writing, illustrating, and mounting standard size photos and postcards. This 5” x 7.5” journal contains 100 pages of eco-friendly, acid-free bamboo paper. It’s our most versatile, and is ideal for light watercolor, and for writing or sketching with any type of pen, pencil, or charcoal. (Note: this is definitely the best paper for use with micro-tips or fountain pens.) This book features an elegant Victorian era door hinge closure. To open, simply pull the pin out of the top of the hinge, and the top and bottom leather flaps can then pull away from one another. It is an authentic, repurposed antique hinge, dating back to the 1880’s-1890’s. It is attached with hand-hammered copper rivets.
