Perugia - Silver Nugget/Artisan Paper/Padlock

The Perugia Journal is ideal for the prolific writer or artist who wants more space to enjoy the creative experience. Plus, 4x6 photos will fit nicely in either a horizontal or vertical arrangement. The square size makes a perfect guest book as well.  This 7.5”x7.5” journal contains 100 pages of the acid-free Artisan cotton  paper. It’s my most versatile, and is ideal for light watercolor, and for writing or sketching with any type of pen, pencil, or charcoal. (Note: this and the bamboo are the best papers for use with micro-tips or fountain pens.) This book features a repurposed antique icebox hinge closure from the late 1800’s. It is attached with hand-hammered copper rivets. Securing the book is an antique padlock that comes with a beautiful working key. Though the padlock is functional, it is meant to be treated as decoration.
