Beginning Bookbinding - Accordion Book During this two hour beginning bookbinding course, students will learn how to make the deceptively simple accordion structure, one of the oldest and most versatile forms of bookbinding. This structure is excellent for displaying photographs, drawing, journaling, and makes a good base for a variety of artist books. In this course, students will learn precision paper folding and cutting, basic adhesive techniques, and how to cover book board with decorative paper. Students will leave class with one or more small accordion books. Materials and tools are provided, but students are welcome to bring their own decorative paper or tools if they wish.  Date: February 29th, 5:30p -7:30p Materials Provided: paper, PVA, decorative paper Tools Provided: bone folders, Olfa blades, cutting mats, glue brushes, rulers
