
Teaching Routines to Children Who Have ASD
Autism is fast becoming an epidemic among American children, with current reports estimating that 1 in 50 children carry an ASD diagnosis. Parents of children with autism need evidence-based techniques that will allow them to work with their children to build positive behaviors and successful home routines. This program teaches parents the ABC Method (Antecedent-Behavior-Consequence) in teaching basic skills to children. Using video, interactive checklists and action plans this program trains parents and caregivers todevelop and implement an individualized teaching plan to teach children new skills and manage their challenging behaviors.
