Studio D'Artisan's "Upcycle" series represents a conscientious approach to fashion, embracing the Japanese ethos of Mottainai  (Too good to waste) - centered around minimizing waste and making the most of available resources. These pants are crafted from a duck canvas fabric made by re-spinning denim scraps, thread waste, and used denim collected from factories. Through this process, the waste material is upcycled into a durable new fabric, giving discarded textiles a second life. The patches used for these pants are also produced from recycled leather that has been pressed, giving it a feel and look akin to cork/suede. 13oz.
