Our upgraded EKMP3's offer a 22 Amp INCREASE in maximum current capacity over an OEM EKPM3. This allows for more current to be supplied to your low pressure fuel pump (LPFP) without risking thermal overload, which often leads to your car shutting down. This means that you won't have to worry about being stranded on the side of the road while waiting for your EKP module to cool down, especially when you've installed a large low pressure fuel pump such as a Walbro 525lph or 535lph.  What makes this an upgrade over a factory EKMP3? We start off by taking a brand new EKMP3 and removing the stock half bridge IC fuel pump motor driver and then we replace it with a brand new genuine Infineon half bridge IC. The half bridge IC is responsible for supplying varying current based on flow requests from the DME (the car's computer). This takes the brunt of the load and what causes thermal overload shutdowns on factory EKMP3s when using a larger-than-stock low pressure fuel pump. The factory half br
