Oil paint over acrylic on panel finished with UV-resistant matte varnish. An original southwest landscape oil painting of clouds over Cerro Pedernal near Abiquiú, New Mexico. 6 x 6 inch masonite panel in a handcrafted poplar frame finished with deep cherry stain, gold metallic wax, and a durable shellac finish. With the frame the piece is 7.5 x 7.5 inches, and has a carved slot in the reverse of the frame for easy hanging.
