Jemez Miniature Series 3, No.4 - 6" x 6"

Oil paint and acrylic paint on panel finished with matte varnish. An original southwest landscape oil painting of neon pink and metallic green clouds over the Jemez Mountains near Santa Fe, New Mexico. 6 x 6 inch masonite panel in a handcrafted wood frame finished with glossy black enamel and gold metallic wax. With the frame the piece is ~7 x 7 inches, and has a carved slot in the reverse of the frame for easy hanging.Use of green interference paint in this piece gives it a metallic, almost holographic quality when viewed at different angles.
